After graduation, she attended Ferris State\u00a0University and obtained a Bachelors in Vision Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She obtained her Doctorate in Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2017-2025, graduating with High Distinction. She gained extra clinical experience during her education at WOW Vision Therapy, Great Lakes Eye Care, the Battle Creek Veterans\u00a0Affairs Medical Center, and North Coast Eye Care in Amherst, Ohio. After the completion of her optometry degree, Dr. Lirones pursued a clinical residency\u00a0to specialize in Pediatrics, Vision Therapy, Binocular Vision and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation. Her clinical\u00a0interests include the following: Primary\/Family Eyecare, Pediatrics, Vision Therapy, Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation (post stroke\/concussion care), contact lenses, myopia control, and ocular disease. She practiced in East Lansing for four years before joining the Eyesite in 2022. She currently resides in Mt. Pleasant with her husband, Dr. Luke Lirones.
